Who is the Teacher App for?

The Teacher App is designed for studio owners, administrators, and teachers. It provides a complete management suite — from scheduling and student tracking to billing and analytics.

Accessing the Teacher App

After logging in with an admin or staff account, you're automatically taken to the Teacher Dashboard. The sidebar on the left gives you quick access to all sections.

ℹ️

Staff accounts have limited access — they cannot see Mail Logs, Leads, Settings, or the main Dashboard overview. Only admin accounts have full access.

The Sidebar Navigation

The left sidebar is your primary navigation tool. It stays fixed on desktop and slides in from the left on mobile.

  • Tap the hamburger menu (top-left) on mobile to open or close it
  • Tapping any menu item on mobile will automatically close the sidebar
  • The active page is highlighted with your studio's accent colour
  • Your profile and Sign Out button are always at the bottom of the sidebar

Role-Based Access

Studio Management Pro has two internal roles for the Teacher App:

  • Admin — Full access to all features including Settings, Reports, Mail Logs, and Leads
  • Staff — Access to Schedule, Students, Curriculum, Locations, POS, and Products only

In-App Quick Help & Contextual Guidance

To eliminate onboarding friction without cluttering the screen for seasoned teachers, Studio Management PRO integrates a Contextual In-App Quick Help System:

  • Global Doc Hints Header Toggle: Click the Book icon (📖) in the top header bar (beside the Theme Toggle) to show or hide in-app doc pills. Your preference is automatically remembered across sessions.
  • Slide-Over Quick Help Drawer: Clicking any [📖 Docs] pill slides open a side-by-side Quick Help Drawer from the right side of the screen. Teachers can read concise step-by-step instructions, pro tips, and key workflows without losing their place, navigating away, or discarding unsaved form data.
  • Deep Docs Linking: A prominent button at the top of the Quick Help Drawer — “Open full article in Docs site ↗” — allows instructors to jump directly to the comprehensive article on the external documentation portal whenever deeper research is needed.
